Capitol Flexi-Pave begins Arlington National Cemetery project PDF Print E-mail

KBI Certified Contractor, Capitol Flexi-Pave has started the initial phase of sidewalks for Arlington National Cemetery.  This week, their crew commenced installation of the first 10,000 sq-ft of KBI Flexi®-Pave for the Eisenhower Sidewalk.  The remainder of the Eisenhower Sidewalk will be completed in early 2012 once roadwork and other site alterations have been completed.  Arlington National Cemetery management chose KBI Flexi®-Pave in part, due to their "Green Initiative" which includes consideration for Stormwater Management, LEED, and use of sustainable materials.  The initial 10,000 feet of KBI Flexi®-Pave uses 3,000 recycled passenger tires in its construction.  KBI is honored to be a part of the project and thanks all of our U.S. military service members, past and present, for their sacrifices, dedication, and service to our country.
